After attending a co-ed middle school, our daughter quickly recognized the unique benefits of the Castilleja mission when she entered as a 9th grader. Watching her grow as a leader alongside her inspiring classmates affirmed our support for the capital campaign to reimagine the campus. We're excited to see the next generation of leaders thrive on their new campus.

Supporting this campaign extends beyond our gratitude for what Castilleja has meant to our family—we view Open Their World as an opportunity to support women's education and the future of women's leadership.

Our daughter's experience at Castilleja has been truly transformative. We've watched our shy, hesitant girl become a leader in a way uniquely authentic to her. She's grown into a confident and thoughtful speaker and someone who is eager to engage with everything around her.

As we imagined the generations of future students graduating from Castilleja, each with the experience that our daughter has had, each ready to make a difference in the world in whatever they choose to do – of course we wanted to be a part of that.

What inspired me to support this campaign was my desire to give back to the institution that gave me so much. During my seven years at Casti I had the opportunity to learn from engaging teachers, participate in sports that taught me about teamwork and listen to amazing speakers from around the world. When I reflect about my value system, I know I undoubtedly got so many of them from Castilleja. In addition to the values, I found life-long friends that are supportive, fiercely driven in their pursuits and incredible citizens of the world. As an alum who received financial aid during my time, I feel it is my turn to support this school that provided me with so many opportunities. Ultimately, I want to be part of creating transformative experiences for the next generation of young girls and pay it forward as generous donors did before me.
